I’m pleased to welcome back author Frank Sennett to the show to break down everything we saw in this episode.
We talk about a the proper paint colors, political rallies and tradecraft. We also get into good and bad political slogans and how the slow horses have a hard time with “Teamwork makes the dream work.”
Plus a what other TV show has good partner pairings?
All that and more in this episode!

It’s rather ironic that your excellent Barbican Station podcast is in fact longer than the 4thepisode itself, which was only 39 minutes!
When I was reading the book I was deeply hoping the show was going to keep the paint scene as it is a great setup for humor and side plot.
I really wish the counter scene with Shirley and Catherine was closer to the book, but when reading the book I was thinking this scene would be a large lift with three settings / locations as the scene progresses. A scene closer to the book may have added 6 to 9 minutes, which would have been a bit too much time. But, it would have been so good, (I think).
